And our dates were Bam Bam and Santa...
Resolved to take a picture every day...captions optional, but sometimes very necessary!

It's Real!
The board is set up, the pieces are in place, and the kids are ready. We have prime ministers and a UN. Arms Dealers and a World Bank are at the ready. Let the negotiations begin!
Happy Place
This is my happy place...from my lounge chair at the Spa in Palm Desert. 85 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. A cool pool and Tim the cabana boy with smoothie in hand....aaahhhhh.
Havurah Pals
Also known as Crepey, Drapey, Saggy, Baggy, Splotchy, Blotchy, Flabby and Crabby. We missed you Jeannie! 17 years and still going strong...
Snack Time
The Chicks are on their way for a birthday snack. I love a pretty table and believe we shouldn't hide the fun linens and cloth napkins. Why are people so surprised to see nice things?
Ring the Bell, Deb!
Some Chicks accompany Deb on a most important job - finding the perfect wedding dress. Imagine the squeals, the shrieks, the silliness, as the four of us snatched dresses from the rack and squashed into a dressing room meant for 2. We did find the perfect dress - and on sale! And finally...Deb got to ring the bell.
Birthday Triplets!
Amy, Nancy and I had lots of reasons to party - the best of friends, excellent wine and delicious food...AND we get to wear tiaras!
Double Happiness
There is something so magical about a rainbow and this one had a perfect twin. It came up out of the ocean and arced right back in...gorgeous.

Massive Woulds
Seen in the game store while looking for Navy ships for the World Peace Games. I had quite the education at the game store...who knew you could buy a nine pack of massive wounds?
17 Years and Counting
Sitting in Chris's beautiful handcrafted sukkah, eating Jeannie's delicious challah with apples, calling the absent kids on the phone, interrupting storyteller Fran, and laughing at Alan. Yes, it's Sukkot, and we wouldn't miss it for the world.
Coming Soon to a Station Near You
I came home from Northern California to find gas had gone up about 40 cents in just 3 days! And every day, it goes up some more. The blame goes to broken refineries (again) and I heard CA gas can't be imported from other states because we only use the "clean air" gas. It's just a shock to see the $5 mark, but we all knew it was coming. The powers that be promise gas will go down, but we'll wait and see...
The World
It's ready to be populated and the problems of the world are ready to be solved. We have armies, copper and gold mines, nuclear power plants, satellites, oil wells and clouds. We're still looking for ships and need to make the land forms. And on the seventh day, we rested.
If Only...
I turned on my Google Maps hoping I had Wi-Fi, but found this from the last time I had used Google Maps. For once, I was happy I didn't have internet connection and my map was still there.
And then, I was sad...sigh.

San Francisco Treat
Back in the city and we must always pose in front of the trolley car! Next stop...Chinese food!
Clean!
We're clean...but not for long! Alyssa and Brooke are the team called HappyLand Sisters, and Kathi and I are "Stomping Sisters". Kathi was the "scraper" and I was the stomper and I definitely got the better end of that deal. She had to stick her entire arm into the barrel and scrape the messy skins, seeds and sticks away from the barrel hole. In the process, she was a sticky mess and we couldn't wait to rinse off. Too bad we lost the competition by 4/10's of an ounce, but we did stomp four and a half pounds!
Ticky Tacky
There's a green one, and a pink one, and a blue one and a yellow one. And they're all make out of ticky tacky and they all look just the same.
In honor of the Winer's Weeds Wake - we'll miss you Nancy, Shane Silas and Andy!
Flirty Bug
Cutie car outside of my nail salon. And I can tell you many details about the owner's life - she spilled the dirt to everyone at the salo - thinking she was talking only to the manicurist. Her voice was SO loud and now I know about her bum husband, aching feet, Brazilian wax job gone wrong...TMI, but a very cute car!
Walk Towards the Light...
Tashlich service at South Cardiff Beach to celebrate Rosh Hashana. We didn't have bread, so my sins were in Triscuit form.
