Brave Girl
Yes, it's been a while. But people keep asking when will I post another picture on my blog... And I just either don't have time I really don't think about it. I have a student in my fifth-grade who also writes a blog- and We admitted to each other that we are not as good at blogging as we would like to be. So we made a pinky promise and now I plan on keeping my end of the deal.
To catch the blog up, my favorite subject, Darby, is now no longer with us. We had to have him put to sleep at the end of May. I miss him more than anything... his fuzzy face, his silly behavior, and his total cattitude. Madeline seemed a very pale shadow And not that interesting a subject. However, she has become quite a character now that she is an only cat. She goes outside on the patio with us, and she meows incessantly -apparently she always had a lot to say, but Darby never let her get the word in edgewise. She has become are very demanding little cat. Yesterday she went out on our upstairs deck and proceeded to climb into the planter to get a better view of the birds down below. No fear. She's a brave girl.

Sea Air
Survivor
RIP
Whilst at Yad Vashem, I have some special privileges and get access to the archives. I was looking for specific info with regards to distant relatives lost in Poland. I knew the name of the village they were from and knew they were murdered in 1 of 3 camps. I know now they were sent to Belzec in 1942. Malka, Etel, Samuel and Ester Guzik - I know who you are now and you can rest in peace.

They Look, Too
Men and women are separated at the wall, and of course- the men get a LOT more space! The women stand on chairs to see what the men are doing, but this was the first time I saw men looking over.
